IQS Learning runs the Southern Right Home school, and we model our school on the Charlotte Mason philosophies.
We believe in daily work on the habits of :
regular diligent effort (work can be its own reward)
paying careful attention (good input makes for good output)
faithful observation (even though we are not all artists, we keep and illustrate our Nature Journals).
We are fortunate to have Internet at our fingertips, and we USE it in our research (our project work takes up a large percentage of our time). We respect our environment and are (very!) proudly South African. This year, we are concentrating on South African history, honing our Maths skills, and preparing for Secondary school
Our fun is had in music and horse riding and in the marvellous, huge world of good stories.
